Justin had a big heart and loved everyone. He would do anything for anyone. He didn't let things get to him too much. He was pretty easy going and happy.
When Justin was in his early teens, he worried about his mom driving in bad weather during the winter. So he got a bag and filled it with a blanket, a flashlight, a candle and some matches and put it in her car, just in case.
Justin loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, swimming, scuba diving, working on cars, hanging out in the garage or barn with his friends or just sitting around a camp fire. He played football all four years in high school. He also loved playing the guitar.
He got his first guitar when he was 12 years old. He was so happy when he got that guitar. He became really good at playing, although he could not read music, he played by ear. His last Christmas here on earth he bought his daughter, Lilly, a pink guitar with a purple strap. It was so cute when he would play the guitar and Lilly would sit with him and sing.
I was so proud of him when he decided to become baptized in March of 2007. He attended classes with the pastor for a few months and then decided to be baptized. I know he is now in heaven with Jesus, watching over us every day. |
